Rabi Auto collects information through two forms (the early sign-up form and the Support & Contact form), through your Rabi account when you create one, and through the usage data Rabi Auto’s apps send — each is described in a section below. The website sets no tracking cookies and uses no third-party analytics tools. When you send a form or a beta sign-up, the website keeps your optional answer to “How did you hear about Rabi Auto?” and the utm_ parameters already on the link you followed plus the name of the site that sent you — read once, at that moment, with nothing stored on your device.
Early sign-up form
- What it collects
- Your name, phone number or email, and the bike model you ride. The form on the coming-soon page asks only for your name and a phone number or email.
- What it is used for
- Telling you when a product launches, getting back to you with an answer, recommending the products that suit your bike, and learning which models most people ride so we can put those first. Not used for anything else.
Support & Contact form
- What it collects
- Your name, phone number or email, bike model — and two more things than the form above: the kind of help you need (a question about a product, installation, a fault you are having, warranty…) and the message you write.
- What it is used for
- Answering exactly what you asked about. Not used for anything else.
For both forms
- Who can see it
- Only Rabi Auto. Not sold, not shared with third parties for marketing.
- How long we keep it
- Until you ask us to delete it, or until the matter is done and the information is no longer needed.
- To have it deleted
- Email [email protected]; we delete it and reply to you.
- Where it is stored
- In our own database. It is not pushed to any third-party customer management service.
- What else is recorded
- The time you ticked the consent box — so we can answer when you ask “when did I agree?” or ask us to delete your data. We do not store your IP address.
- Bot protection
- Both forms go through Cloudflare Turnstile. That box runs on code loaded from Cloudflare’s servers, and when you press send, your IP address is sent to Cloudflare so they can check whether this is a person or a machine. Cloudflare does not receive what you type into the form.
Rabi account
- What it collects
- Email; display name if you add one; chosen language. With Google sign-in: your Google account identifier (never your password, contacts or other Google data). With Discord linked: your Discord identifier. If you set a password: only a one-way hash (bcrypt) and the date it was set — nobody, Rabi Auto included, can read your password back. If you link Discord on the beta page or in Settings: your Discord identifier and name, and an encrypted Discord access token — used only to put you into the tester group once approved; unlinking in Settings deletes both.
- Sessions
- One essential cookie
rabi_accountto keep you signed in (not used for tracking); sign-in time and browser type so you can review and sign out each device. No IP address is stored. - Sign-in codes
- Sent by email, stored only one-way hashed, expire after 10 minutes.
- What it is used for
- Signing in and managing your bikes, licenses, beta programmes and downloads.
Consent when you create an account
- Two separate boxes
- A required box to agree to the Terms of use and the Privacy policy — so we can process the information on this page to provide your account and our services. An optional box to get news about new products and offers by email, left unticked. Without the optional box your account works in full.
- Basis
- Your consent, one per purpose: the required box for providing the account, the optional box for news mail.
- What is recorded
- When you agreed, the version of the terms at that time, where you created the account (web or app), and when you agreed to news (if you did). These are in the file you get with download your data.
My bikes
- What it collects
- Bike model, year, and the VIN when you activate a per-bike product. No licence plate.
- What it is used for
- Binding a software license to the right bike, checking compatibility, technical support.
Beta programmes
- What it collects
- The product you apply for, bike model, phone type, where you applied (web/Discord), the decision.
App usage data
- What it collects
- A random install ID the app creates, app version, phone model, and pre-declared events only (app opened, cluster connection result, session length, crash reports). No location, contacts, messages, photos or other phone content.
- How long we keep it
- 180 days.
- What it is used for
- Knowing which bikes the product works well on, fixing faults, release decisions.
In-app feedback
- What it collects
- What you write, its kind, app version, bike model (if you choose).
Dealers
When a dealer activates a product for you, the dealer sees the email you give them to invite you, and the model and VIN of the bike they install on. They see nothing else in your account.
Your rights
In your account: view and edit, sign out everywhere, download your data, delete your account. Deleting removes your personal data; per-bike license records are kept unlinked from you so the bike keeps working and transactions can be reconciled.
Mail: sign-in codes and mail about your account, licenses and beta programmes are transactional — still sent after you unsubscribe from news.
News and offers by email
Sent only to accounts that ticked the news box. Stop them at any time: turn off the news box in Account & data, or use the unsubscribe link at the end of every message — news mail stops at once. Turning it on again is a new consent, with its time recorded.
Email delivery
Rabi Auto’s email (sign-in codes, transactional mail, news) is sent through Resend, an email delivery service running on Amazon Web Services infrastructure, with its servers outside Vietnam (United States). Resend receives the recipient’s address and the message in order to deliver it.
Email you send us
Email to [email protected] passes through Cloudflare’s email routing service and then into Rabi Auto’s mailbox. The message and the sender’s address are kept in that mailbox.
When this page will change
Every time we add a place that collects data, this page has to change first. If you see a form this page does not mention, that is our mistake — please tell us at the address above.
